WRITER
Name: Alex.
Pronouns: They / Them.
Age: 21+.VERSE
This account is era-flexible, set within the modern day and inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his Sherlock Holmes novels. That being said, interactions are welcomed from all, especially Spy and Crime adjacent verses.ERA
While timeline banter is normally set within the present day, writing within the canon time period (late 1800s to early 1900s) is also encouraged.CONTENT WARNINGS
Due to the nature of the verse, throughout this account, there will be mentions of; Violence, Coarse Language, Sexual Content, Alcohol, Drugs, Firearms and Other Weaponry. If any of these topics are triggering, please stay safe and block or mute this account.
Mature themes. Minors, DO NOT interact. I am a writer over 21 and do not feel comfortable roleplaying with people under that age. Additionally, the settings where I do write are more conducive to an adult space, due to the themes and nature of the verse (as outlined in the ‘Content Warnings’ section).Time. I am in Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT+10). As much as I love back-and-forth RPing with minutes between replies, that isn’t always obtainable due to my time zone. A majority of communication will be asynchronous. I also understand that real life (work, events, friends, errands, etc…) comes before anything online, so don’t stress if you can’t reply for a few days, I hope that you extend the same courtesy to me.RP Style. A vast majority of my writing is done in 3rd person. Depending on the situation, I may switch to a different view, but otherwise, it will remain in that viewpoint. For the reader’s understanding, I include my character’s thoughts and feelings in my responses–, this doesn’t mean that your character can read their mind, but it may provide some insight into why my character felt or acted in a certain manner.I love RP, especially when it comes to developing my writing skills. While I prefer full sentences in regular formatting, I don’t care if you make typos or other mistakes (I’m probably the biggest offender, sleepily making typo after typo). As long as I can read it and understand where you’re coming from, you’re golden.Autonomy. No ‘god-modding’, ‘auto-hitting’ or anything similar. Like a majority of writers, I don’t appreciate my characters being taken control of without their consent. Please discuss in DMs if you want to RP a fight, or anything similar.
